Et quelques recherches préliminaires...

Photography in "The Time Before"...

Walter Benedict, the main character in "The Time Before" is a photographer.
He takes every kind of photos but his speciality is fashion photography in studio.
In fact, he directs the models, choses the lights, the poses and he has the opportunity to do the same in his life with the talisman which allows him to go in the past and change the events...
He can "put on stage" his life...

Walter Benedict, le personnage principal de "The Time Before" est photographe.
Il pratique la photographie sous toutes ses formes, mais sa spécialité est la photographie de mode en studio.
En fait, il met en scène les modèles, choisi les lumières, les poses et il a l'opportunité de faire la même chose dans sa vie avec le talisman qui lui permet de revenir dans le passé et de changer les événements.
Il peut "mettre en scène" sa vie...

The Time Before... Some sources of inspiration

About time and infinity...

In "The time before" one of the characters speaks about the mathematician Georg Cantor.
Cantor developped a theory which proves there is an infinty of infinity... which is fascinating.
So, in the graphic novel, I spread that to time and pretend there is an infinity of times like parallel realities...

Dans "The time before" l'un des personnages fait allusion au mathématicien Georg Cantor.
Celui-ci avait développé une théorie selon laquelle il existe une infinité d'infinis... ce qui est pour le moins fascinant.
Dans l'album, j'ai étendu cette idée au temps et présente l'hypothèse d'une infinité de temps comme des réalités parallèles...
